Which search engines we work for as an SEO expert?
When we say SEO we mean to rank web pages on Google. But there are a lot of projects where you will have to work for other search engines too. Such as Bing Microsoft, Baidoo, DuckDuck Go etc. Unless you are working for any Chinese project where search engine might be different.
Most of the time you will be working to rank on Google.
Apart from Google, Bing Microsoft has the 5-6% Market share which is second largest. Baidoo has 1-2% Market Share which makes it the third largest. DuckDuckGo is gaining popularity gradually.
As an SEO expert you will be working mainly to rank a web page on Google. But sometimes some clients or jobplace would require you to know how to rank on other search engines too. But when you rank any webpage on google 90% of the time it automatically gets ranked on other search engines automatically. Google is harder to rank and the search results are the best.
So in this course we will focus only ranking on Google. But I believe if you focus and learn the whole course properly you will be able to rank on other search engines too.
